Backside Learning Center Derby Handicapping Social Event

Angel’s Envy Distillery to Host Backside Learning Center’s Derby Handicapping Social

The Backside Learning Center (BLC) announced its annual Derby Handicapping Social will take place at Angel’s Envy Distillery in Louisville on Tuesday, April 15 at 5:30 p.m. ET.

The event will feature a handicapping seminar moderated by NBC’s Donna Barton Brothers with a panel of racing analysts including FanDuel TV’s Caton Bredar and Gabby Gaudet, alongside Churchill Downs analyst Joe Kristufek.

“All of us on the panel are very excited to be in the new venue,” said Bredar. “We all really look forward to the social, as we not only get to reconnect and get geared up for the Derby, but we can support the backside community and the important work of the Backside Learning Center.”

The evening offers attendees complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages, including a guided tasting of Angel’s Envy Distillery products.

Guests will also have the opportunity to learn about the BLC’s mission supporting the diverse community of backstretch workers and their families at Churchill Downs. The organization provides educational and support services to workers and their families throughout the racing season.

Tickets are priced at $75 per person, with attendance limited to 100 guests. All attendees must be 21 or older.
