Fasig-Tipton has added five supplemental entries to its July Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale, including recent Bashford Manor Stakes winner Romeo.
The 2-year-old colt by Honor A. P. (hip 370) captured the Bashford Manor with a front-running 3 3/4-length victory on June 29. Romeo previously won his debut at Laurel in May by 10 1/4 lengths before finishing third in the June 5 Tremont Stakes. Owner Joseph Lloyd and trainer John Robb have consigned the promising juvenile through Paramount Sales.
Four additional horses have been supplemented to the auction, which takes place Tuesday in Lexington immediately following the July Sale of Selected Yearlings.
Classic Catch (Classic Empire) enters the sale as hip 366 following a second-place finish in a June 5 classified allowance race at Saratoga. The stakes-placed 5-year-old is consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency.
Stakes-performer Jackstown (Speightstown) joins the catalog as hip 367. The 5-year-old, who finished third in last year’s Grade I Bing Crosby Stakes, is presented by Elite.
The estate of legendary trainer D. Wayne Lukas and partners have consigned Delancey Street (Street Sense) as hip 368. The unraced 2-year-old has recorded three published works at Ellis Park in June, most recently breezing four furlongs in :49.60 on June 29.
Rounding out the supplemental entries is Nanzig (Maclean’s Music), cataloged as hip 369. The 2-year-old filly comes off a third-place finish in a July 5 maiden special weight at Horseshoe Indianapolis and is consigned by Mulholland Springs.
The July Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale will begin immediately following the conclusion of the July Sale of Selected Yearlings, which starts at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
