Busy November Completes Impactful Year for Amplify

Amplify Horse Racing concluded its 2025 outreach season with an intensive series of November educational initiatives connecting youth to the Thoroughbred industry.

The organization kicked off the month by hosting over 75 students and 4-H leaders from 11 states at Keeneland for a Thoroughbred Industry Discovery Day. Participants in the Eastern National 4-H Horse Roundup engaged with industry professionals about racehorse training and equine safety protocols, explored the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale, and participated in a career networking lunch connecting them directly with potential mentors and employers.

Following this event, Amplify presented its signature Mentorship Program at the National Farmers Union Women’s Conference, emphasizing mentorship’s critical role in agricultural education and industry career development.

The organization also hosted five mentees from across the country for an immersive Kentucky learning experience, supported by Glen Hill Farm. The day-long program included guided tours of the Keeneland sales grounds with professional horse evaluation instruction, a visit to Godolphin’s Jonabell Farm, and exploration of the Keeneland Library before concluding with Amplify’s annual student networking event.

Amplify expanded its educational outreach with a field trip to Godolphin’s Gainsborough Farm for 40 students from Louisville’s Walden School.

The organization completed its November programming by exhibiting at the Fayette County Public Schools Career Expo at Tates Creek High School.

“Our goal has always been to meet youth where they are, in their schools, communities, and online, and show them that there’s a place for them in this industry,” said Annise Montplaisir, Amplify’s Executive Director and Co-Founder. “This type of transformative programming doesn’t happen without the collaboration and generosity of industry partners and donors. The financial support we receive directly fuels our ability to reach youth who might otherwise never discover this incredible industry.”

Looking ahead to 2026, Amplify plans to launch a new high school curriculum aligned with National Agricultural Literacy Outcomes, Next Generation Science Standards, and Career and Technical Education Standards. The program will equip educators with ready-to-use lessons and hands-on activities integrating Thoroughbred racing education into classroom settings.
