Fasig-Tipton added 11 supplemental entries to its July Selected Horses of Racing Age sale, including five offerings from the Estate of D. Wayne Lukas, the auction house announced Wednesday.
The July Selected HORA sale will take place Tuesday, July 8 in Lexington, Kentucky.
Mulholland Springs will serve as agent for the Lukas Estate offerings, which include two unraced 2-year-olds by Essential Quality and Liam’s Map that were personally selected and purchased by Lukas.
The new supplements are catalogued as hips 355-365, with several notable entries highlighting the additions.
Stakes winner Princess Indy (Hip 355) comes to the sale as a full sister to multiple graded stakes winner Super Chow. She’s out of a half-sister to Grade I winners Carina Mia and Miss Match (Arg) and will be consigned by Taylor Made Sale Agency.
Back Ring Buzz (Hip 356), a two-year-old daughter of Hard Spun, enters the sale after winning her most recent start at Gulfstream on June 27 despite a troubled trip. Taylor Made Sale Agency will handle her consignment as well.
Perfect Figure (Hip 357) brings stakes-placed credentials at two and boasts an impressive pedigree as a half-sister to multiple stakes winner Wizard of Westwood. Her family includes Grade/Group 1 winners Danon Kingly and West Coast, with champion Caressing as her third dam. Elite will consign as agent.
Two-year-old Victory Music (Hip 359) won her debut at Churchill Downs from the rail on June 29 in wire-to-wire fashion. The daughter of Maclean’s Music will be consigned by Paramount Sales.
From the Lukas Estate offerings, Waco (Hip 360) comes to the sale stakes-placed at Oaklawn at three last year. He’s a half-brother to multiple graded stakes placed Flying Private and will be consigned by Mulholland Springs.
Going Steady (Hip 361), a three-year-old winning daughter of Constitution, represents another Lukas Estate offering. She’s out of a half-sister to stakes winner and stakes producer Stronger Than Ever, with Grade I winners Rail Trip, Palace Malice, and Justin Palace in her female family.
