Britney Eurton’s making a splash in the world of soccer, folks. Yep, you heard it right. This Wednesday, the Twitterverse lit up with the news. She’s joining Amazon Prime’s coverage of the National Women’s Soccer League. Talk about a career switch, huh?
It’s all kicking off this Friday, March 15, with the NWSL Challenge Cup. Prime’s got a few select games on the roster, and Eurton? She’ll be right there on the sidelines. Imagine that. From horse racing to soccer fields. She’ll be teaming up with Mike Watts and Lori Lindsey, bringing all the action live from the booth.
Now, here’s a bit of backstory for ya. Eurton waved goodbye to FanDuel last November. After a solid nine-year stint. And get this – she’s not just any reporter. She’s got horse racing in her blood, being the daughter of trainer Peter Eurton. Plus, she’s no stranger to the big leagues, having covered the GI Kentucky Derby, GI Preakness, and the Breeders’ Cup for NBC.
So, what’s the buzz on Twitter? PrimeVideoSportsPR dropped the announcement, welcoming @BritneyEurton to the @NWSL on @PrimeVideo family. There’s even a pic to seal the deal. She’s all set to roam the sidelines this Friday, alongside @MikeWattsOnAir and @LoriLindsey6. Can’t wait to see her in action.
