Finger Lakes Cancels Tuesday Card Due to Adverse Weather
Finger Lakes Gaming announced Tuesday that the day’s entire racing card has been canceled due to adverse weather conditions in the region.
“Please be advised due to adverse weather conditions and out of an overabundance of caution, today’s races have been cancelled,” track officials stated in a post on X.
The canceled program has been rescheduled in its entirety for Thursday, November 13, with first post set for 12:20 p.m.
The Western New York track made the announcement Tuesday afternoon after evaluating track and weather conditions. Safety concerns for both horses and jockeys prompted the decision.
This marks the third weather-related cancellation at Finger Lakes this season, as the track continues its fall racing schedule that runs through early December.
