First Mares Reported in Foal to Mr Fisk & Champions Dream

Pleasant Acres Stallions has reported the first mares in foal to multiple graded stakes winner Mr Fisk and graded winner Champions Dream, both standing their first season at the farm’s Morriston, Florida location.

Mr Fisk (Arrogate–Plein Air {Ire}, by Manduro {Ger}) enters stud following a successful racing career that included victories in the 2024 GII Hollywood Gold Cup, 2023 GIII Californian Stakes, and 2023 GIII Native Diver Stakes. The only son of Arrogate standing in Florida commands an $8,500 live foal fee.

Champions Dream (Justify–Dancinginherdreams, by Tapit), winner of the 2022 GIII Nashua Stakes, stands for $5,000 live foal.

“We’re thrilled to announce that both of Florida’s only first-year stallions for 2025 have multiple mares confirmed in foal. This early success with Mr Fisk and Champions Dream validates the tremendous interest we’ve seen from breeders,” said Christine Jones, Director of Stallion Services at Pleasant Acres Stallions.

Jones noted the significance of Mr Fisk’s pedigree to the Florida breeding program. “As the only son of the legendary Arrogate standing in Florida, Mr Fisk offers breeders a unique opportunity to tap into this exceptional bloodline.”

The farm reports strong initial breeder response to both stallions, with Champions Dream — by Triple Crown winner Justify — generating particular interest among commercial breeders targeting the yearling market.

These early confirmations represent an important milestone for Pleasant Acres’ 2025 stallion roster, establishing both horses in a competitive regional market.
