Goodwin Joins Vinery Sales And Silver Springs Training

Goodwin Takes on New Role at Vinery Sales and Silver Springs Training

Jay Goodwin has been appointed as the new account manager for Vinery Sales and Silver Springs Training, the sales company announced Friday.

Goodwin previously served as stallion sales director at Walmac Farm before accepting this dual position. He brings extensive sales experience from his work with multiple top consignment agencies since moving to Lexington in 2005.

“Jay is a high integrity, high energy guy, with decades of sales experience in all markets. He’s going to be a tremendous asset to both teams,” said Vinery’s co-owner Matt Bowling.

In addition to his new responsibilities, Goodwin continues to operate Good Win Farm in Paris, Kentucky, where he manages client mares and foals alongside his personal broodmare band.

The industry veteran expressed enthusiasm about joining the established sales organization. “Vinery has a strong sales reputation, and I’m delighted to join the team,” Goodwin said. “Matt, Derek, and Erin have been great to work with in other ventures and I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to work together.”

Goodwin also highlighted the reputation of his second appointment. “Silver Springs also has a fantastic reputation and I’m looking forward to helping my clients make use of these top-class facilities right here in Lexington.”

The appointment strengthens Vinery’s team as they continue to expand their presence in the Thoroughbred sales market while providing Silver Springs Training with additional industry expertise.
