Inglis Digital USA announced Friday that its 2025 March Sale will feature 29 horses and stallion seasons, headlined by the half-sister to the dam of the reigning Horse of the Year.
Lady Eliana (Tapizar), offered as a broodmare prospect, stands out as a half-sister to the dam of ‘TDN Rising Star’ and 2024 Horse of the Year Thorpedo Anna (Fast Anna).
Other notable offerings include stakes winner Bank On Anna (Central Banker) and Fleet Frost (Frosted), who comes from the productive female line that produced the late champion English Channel.
Stakes winners Professors’ Pride (Bayern), from the family of an Argentinian champion, and Tequila Kiss (Competitive Edge), out of a half-sister to the multiple Grade I-placed dam of Japanese champion G1SW-Jpn Danon Decile (Jpn) (Epiphaneia {Jpn}), round out the featured entries.
The catalogue also includes Giant Bird (Colonel John), a half-sister to Grade I stakes winner Mucho Gusto (Mucho Macho Man) and Grade I stakes-placed Go With Gusto (Medaglia d’Oro).
Giant Bird’s immediate female family traces to Canadian Horse of the Year Peaks and Valleys — among the leading sires in Canada — and his half-sister MGSP Alternate (Seattle Slew), dam of GISW Higher Power (Medaglia d’Oro) and MGSW Alternation (Distorted Humor).
This extended family includes GSW & G1SP-Fr, GSP-Ire, GSP American Sonja (GB) (Tasleet {GB}), who finished sixth in the 2024 G1 Prix de l’Opera Longines at ParisLongchamp. Giant Bird is offered in-foal to Bolt d’Oro.
Broodmare Princess Tine (Fr) (Pastorius {Ger}) comes with a no-guarantee season to Raging Bull (Fr) for after she delivers her Demarchelier (GB) foal. Lookin at Grace (Lookin At Lucky) will be sold with her February 25 Tapwrit filly at foot.
For breeders with late-season plans, the sale includes no-guarantee seasons to Flameaway, Modernist, Messier, Mind Control, and Great Notion.
