Cafe Pharoah, a two-time winner of the G1 February S. at Tokyo, has officially retired from racing and is set to start his breeding career in 2024 at Arrow Stud on Hokkaido island. Bred in Kentucky by the late Paul Pompa, this promising racehorse made a significant impact in the world of horse racing during his career. Trained by Noriyuki Hori for owner Koichi Nishikawa, Cafe Pharoah quickly made a name for himself by winning his maiden race by an impressive 10 lengths.

Throughout his career, Cafe Pharoah achieved an outstanding seven career victories, with six of those wins at the stakes level, earning him over $5.4 million. His impressive performance also includes a third-place finish in the G1 Saudi Cup. With his exceptional talent and pedigree, Cafe Pharoah was named Japan’s champion dirt horse of 2022, solidifying his reputation as a top competitor in the world of horse racing.
