Inglis Digital USA has appointed Joshua Kerin as a sales and recruitment associate, the company announced Wednesday. Kerin will focus on recruiting horses and developing relationships within the bloodstock sector from the auction house’s Lexington office.
Working alongside Senior Director of Sales and Recruitment Kyle Wilson, Kerin brings extensive experience in both Australian and American racing markets.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the Inglis Digital USA team,” Kerin said. “Having grown up in Australia, I witnessed firsthand the influence and respect Inglis holds in the sales market. Having been immersed in the U.S. market for the past nine years, I believe I can contribute to strengthening the Inglis reputation and expanding its presence in the United States.”
Kerin’s equine career began in Standardbreds at his grandfather’s farm before transitioning to Thoroughbreds at age 13, when he joined Cox Plate-winning trainer Colin Little. He later worked with trainer Ciaron Maher before relocating to the United States.
After completing his education at Colorado State University, where he earned a degree in equine science with a minor in business management, Kerin established himself in Kentucky’s racing industry. While at CSU, he also served as a punter on the university’s football team.
His professional experience includes an internship at Three Chimneys Farm followed by a full-time position with Hidden Brook Farm beginning in 2021.
Most recently, Kerin held a dual role with Vinery Sales and Silver Springs Training Center starting in 2023. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Kentucky Thoroughbred Farm Managers Club.
Wilson expressed confidence in the new hire, stating, “Josh brings a wealth of knowledge and years of experience with him to the Inglis Digital USA team. We’re thrilled to have him on board and ready to get him started working with our existing and future clients.”
