McMahon of Saratoga has added Grade II winner Showcase to its 2026 stallion roster, the operation announced Friday. The son of Uncle Mo will stand for an introductory fee of $5,000.
The TDN Rising Star will enter stud after completing his racing career as a 3-year-old, joining Central Banker, Solomini and sophomore Provocateur at the New York-based farm.
Showcase demonstrated considerable talent early in his career for owner Harrell Ventures and trainer Todd Pletcher. The $300,000 Keeneland September yearling purchase broke his maiden impressively on debut during the Belmont At The Big A meet, earning Rising Star designation for the performance.
“Showcase had enormous ability combined with an explosive kick of speed,” said Pletcher. “He was my best 2-year-old that year. He should be a huge asset to the New York breeding program, returning to Saratoga where he showed so much talent on the racetrack.”
The colt validated his maiden win with a commanding three-and-a-half length victory in the GII Saratoga Special Stakes last August, cementing his status as one of the more promising juveniles in his crop.
Showcase represents a significant addition to the New York breeding program, where he’ll begin covering mares in the 2026 breeding season.
