Well, folks, it’s happening. Nicholson’s hanging up his hat. After a whopping 46 years, he’s calling it quits from the Agency.
The date? December 31, as per the press release that came out this past Sunday. The agency he’s leaving behind? Nicholson Insurance Agency, a name that’s been around since 1993.
This isn’t your run-of-the-mill insurance agency, mind you. They’ve been dealing with the equine and farm insurance game for years. And, oh, did I mention? They’ve just been snapped up by Acrisure, the sixth-largest brokerage firm worldwide.
Nicholson had a few words to say about his departure. “It has been my privilege and pleasure to associate with the world of the horse,” he said. Combining his career with his love for horses? He called it a blessing.
And the people he’s met? From sales to racetracks and show rings, he’s crossed paths with folks who share his deep love and care for horses. He called them “special indeed.”
So, there you have it. Nicholson’s stepping down, but his legacy? That’s sticking around.
