NYRA will host a second job fair Mar. 19 to support the 2025 Belmont Stakes Racing Festival at Saratoga Race Course. The event will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET at the 1863 Club.
Attendees should enter through the Wright Street entrance (Gate 8), with parking available in the 1863 Club lot.
The racing organization announced the hiring initiative Friday morning as preparations continue for the prestigious racing festival.
Multiple organizations will be represented at the job fair, including NYRA, Dyehard Fan Supply, Integrated Staffing, and Levy Restaurants.
Available positions span numerous operational areas including mutuel clerks, cashiers, merchandise clerks, customer service representatives, white caps, and security guards. Food service roles include restaurant supervisors, barbacks, bussers, runners, prep cooks, and dishwashers. Parking attendants are also needed.
Prospective workers must be at least 15 years of age and possess New York State Certified Working Papers. Security guards, cashiers, and betting clerks positions require applicants to be at least 18 years old.
Security guard applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. All applicants must present a photo ID and Social Security card or I-9 alternative.
This hiring push comes as NYRA prepares for one of the racing calendar’s signature events — the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival — which will be held at Saratoga Race Course in 2025.
