OBS Spring Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training Catalogue Now Available Online

The catalogue for the 2025 Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company Spring Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training is now available online at the official OBS website.

The four-day auction will run April 15-18 with sessions beginning daily at 10:30 a.m. ET. The sale will follow a structured format with Hips 1-302 selling April 15, Hips 303-604 on April 16, Hips 605-906 on April 17, and concluding with Hips 907-1207 on April 18.

Under-tack previews will span seven days from April 6-12, starting at 8 a.m. ET each morning. The preview schedule breaks down as follows:

• April 6: Hips 1-173
• April 7: Hips 174-346
• April 8: Hips 347-519
• April 9: Hips 520-691
• April 10: Hips 692-863
• April 11: Hips 864-1035
• April 12: Hips 1036-1207

For the 2025 edition, OBS has introduced a “Gallop Only” entry option. This designation will appear on catalog pages for horses entered under this classification.

Live streaming of both the under-tack show and the sale will be available through the OBS website and partner platforms including TDN, DRF, BloodHorse, and Past The Wire.

The 2024 OBS Spring Sale produced multiple Grade I winners including multiple Grade I winner Chancer McPatrick and Grade I winner Tenma. Other notable graduates include Saudi Derby winner Golden Vekoma, graded stakes winners May Day Ready and Mo Plex, plus recent Grade III winner Vixen.

Cavalieri, who captured the Grade I Beholder Mile on March 8, represents another successful graduate from the 2023 edition of the auction.
