National Museum of Racing is now accepting submissions for its annual “Photo Finish” juried photography exhibition, the organization announced Monday.
Professional and amateur photographers can submit up to two photographs that capture artistic and unique perspectives of Thoroughbred racing in America. The museum seeks images depicting racing and training scenes, backstretch activities, farm life, and fan experiences at the track.
Selected photographs will be featured in the von Stade Gallery beginning in November.
A panel of judges representing both the racing and arts communities will evaluate all submissions. Additional entries may be considered for inclusion in the online exhibition component at the jurors’ discretion.
Application forms are available at the museum’s visitor center desk and can be downloaded from the museum’s website.
Last year’s online exhibition remains accessible through the museum’s digital archives.
The “Photo Finish” exhibition has become a celebrated tradition at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, showcasing the artistic talent capturing the spirit and beauty of the Thoroughbred racing world.
Photographers interested in submitting their work should ensure their images relate specifically to American Thoroughbred racing scenes and culture.
