Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance to Have Prominent Presence at Belmont Stakes Weekend
NYRA will showcase the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (TAA) during the upcoming Belmont Stakes weekend at Saratoga Race Course, the organization announced Thursday.
The non-profit will be featured throughout the prestigious racing event with several high-profile activations planned.
To highlight accredited aftercare initiatives, NYRA has designated a named race on the Friday, June 6 undercard to honor the TAA. The winning connections will receive a special presentation and commemorative gift bag following the race.
TAA representatives will host winners of the exclusive VIP experience that was auctioned earlier this year as part of the organization’s “Off to the Races” campaign. The experience package, donated by NYRA, was created specifically to generate support for accredited aftercare programs.
The presence at Belmont Stakes weekend provides TAA with a significant platform to promote its mission of accrediting, inspecting, and awarding grants to approved aftercare organizations that retire, retrain, and rehome Thoroughbreds.
This collaboration continues the long-standing partnership between NYRA and TAA, which has consistently worked to elevate aftercare awareness at premier racing events throughout the calendar.
