The National Weather Service has placed Southern Queens under a wind advisory beginning at 12 p.m. ET, with forecasts calling for sustained high winds and gusts exceeding 45 mph.

Aqueduct will remain open for simulcasting from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET despite the live racing cancellation.
This marks the second consecutive day of canceled racing at the venue. Live racing was also canceled on Thursday, Oct. 30 due to a powerful storm that generated extremely high winds and rainfall exceeding 2.5 inches.
